Salvation
Acts 16:31
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
God created us to have fellowship with him. But because He is Holy and we are not, the fellowship is broken by sin. All of us have sinned no one is perfect (Romans 3:23). But God loved us and made a way to restore our relationship with Him. He sent His perfect Son Jesus Christ to pay the price for our sin by shedding His blood on the cross. He died as a perfect sacrifice for you! Three days later He conquered sin and death by rising from the dead. Today the living Christ wants to be your Savior. He doesn’t force us into a relationship with Him but allows us the free will to decide to place our faith in Him or not. The bible says that one day, every knee will bow and tongue confess that Jesus Christ is LORD (Romans 14:11). You can do that today---right now. It’s the most important decision you will make while on this earth. Once you open your heart to Christ you become new, forgiven and free. God promises abundant and eternal life to those who believe. Will you accept the free gift of salvation today? It’s not difficult. Even a child can understand the need for a Savior and the concept of faith and believing. If you’re ready, just whisper this prayer quietly and pray it from your heart:
“Dear God, I know that I am not perfect and I need to be forgiven. I believe that you sent your son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. Right now I ask Jesus to come into my heart and life to be my Savior. I thank you Lord for saving me. I pray that your Holy Spirit will guide me to grow closer to you every day. Amen.”
Friend, if you prayed that prayer and meant it with all your heart, you have been Born Again into the family of God and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Find a good Bible based church and tell some people what you have done. You have changed the very direction of your life! Our prayer is that God will do great things in your life as you seek His purpose for you. God bless you and please send us an e-mail about your decision to follow Christ. We want to congratulate you and pray for you as you begin your journey with the King of Kings.
